Yes, it was good. Not the original, but thats a good thing. Had some iffy parts, but overall another solid movie from Rob Zombie. Althought the critics hated it.

omg i loved this movie. i saw it three times in theaters and multiple other times with a bootlegged copy. i had impecable timing with people getting stabbed.
"i hate vacations" -some old guy in movie
"i hope he dies" -me
split second later he gets stabbed. favorite part of the movie. who hates vacations? cmon

Since when do critics give good reviews on horror movies? lol
I thought it was amazing. Although it was not identical to the original, I thought that was a plus. I was glad it wasn't always predictable and I always wanted to know more about the beginning. I would definently see it again and again and again. Rob Zombie is fucking great.

very true miss horrorbitch. Although Devils Rejects was still better, this was a solid remake/reworking.
