"Ultimately, Cannibal is a surprising, but immensely satisfying listen. Having the same line-up for a second record in a row for the first time in the band's history positively affected Static-X in recording Cannibal, and these positives are far-reaching. Static-X incorporated and strengthened their best characteristics - Wayne's evidently psychotic vocal themes, harsh and aberrant vocals, solid main riffs and rhythm section, and assertive industrial passages - to a tremendous degree. In particular, Wayne has shown the most growth and maturity as a musician, although the others have improved greatly as well. However, standing pat on their laurels aren't the reason Cannibal is Static-X's best album this decade: through the masterful implementation and execution of guitar solos and industrial passages that never tyrannize or despotize the music, Static-X have finally released an album that, for the most part, exemplifies what they can do best." - some shitty review site... "Cannibal is an album that welcomes new friends while at the same time embraces the old ones. There is a lot more of the original Static-X vibe here and less attempts at experimentation; Static himself feels that this is probably the most Metal they had ever sounded when it came down to it. So it you like Metal coupled with a solid groove then this is for you, there will be “No Submission” this time. While they were never truly away - Static-X has returned. Make some room on the floor for the slamming." - some other review site Make some room on the floor for the slamming? Maybe the slamming of your face getting curb stomped for listening to this trash. Why do people like repetitive shitty ass music that does not appeal to anyone or anything. Static-X is hard rock at its most dull. Disturbed is better then them. They have tried to make millions 4+ times now and have been unsuccessful. Silly Static-X...Maybe I am just being to critical on hard rock in general, but this is about as bad as it gets...

I'm sorry bud but I've heard the new album and it sounds like Static ate a few too many lead paint chips and then washed it all down with bleach before he wrote the songs for this album. Zero vocal talent, boring instruments, and each song consists of him screaming the same word over and over again. I think my grandmother could write a better metal song than Static at this point of the game. If you like this album than you deserve to have both your ears bitten off by Mike Tyson.

They were decent when they were stil a novelty. Then shit rolled down hill. Go listen to Tony Campo's other band instead, ASESINO.

Anything featuring members from Brujeria and Fear Factory (yaya, I still like them) can not be bad. I will definitely give them some more listens.

I never got into these guys and I think the singer's hair style is so lame. I remember an old high school classmate of mine use to listen and talk about these guys all the time though which was annoying and I didn't really see the point in their style of music anwyay
