It's the fact that veggies are more expensive than a Big Mac. If you go to a supermarket you'll notice that a pound of potatoes are over five dollars while a bag of potato chips go for a little over one dollar.

Statistics show that the lower-class you are, the more likely your weight is above the national average. I feel that if the government wants to help decrease the obesity plague, they should start with making healthier foods more accessible to those with smaller paychecks.

Good point. Whenever I volunteered at the soup kitchen, they always served SAUSAGES as the meat portion. Fatty, greasy, rolled up scraps of meat. Even I would not eat that.

Yeah, even at places where soup is offered to those without any money they are still given food that won't benefit them in many ways besides filling their stomachs.

Obesity is a problem that can only be solved at a younger age. (Mind you, a 45 year old could get skinny, its just a lot harder) If parents taught kids proper nutrition and exercise, it would most likely carry onto their future.

Going the way we are now, in about 30 years, we're going to have an assload of very fat old people.

Aw, shit...

I swear every fat fuck shops at where I work. Everywhere I turn there's a dude that can't get out of his car with out coughing and gagging, and there are women whose under arms hang down to their waists. It's enough to make someone puke. puke

Seriously Bill_Thrash, that last post almost made me puke from laughing so hard.

I know it wasn't supposed to be funny, but the whole thing is something I have observed too and I was laughing tears.

Jesus, warn us next time.
