Probably Salo, although I don't take kindly to animal cruelty, so I think Cannibal Holocaust and so forth are pretty disturbing at some times.

I just watched "Mario Banana" today by Andy Warhol. Its 7 minutes of a transvestite eating a banana seductively while staring into the camera. Everyone in the class felt very akward after.

The original Day of the Dead by George A. Romero. For an old movie the gore effects were amazing. They used real pig insides to make things look as genuine as possible. Cast members ran away from the set after each cut because the smell was so bad. I guess that's the price you pay to make a good horror film.

Yeah Cannibal Halocaust features real animals REALLY getting slaughtered. It's banned in like, 50 counties as of 2007, and it came out in 1980, goes to show that its been over 25 years and its still seen as so demented to ban it.
I heard the director is going to remake the movie due to demand for a sequel for a new generation.
I support that notion.
I'm all about animals having bad, bad days.
